Happy Valentine's Day

Wishing everyone a very loving and happy Valentine's day.

I am so thankful for my dear Valentine, he makes my life so much brighter and full of love and laughter. Thanks for all you do for us, we love and appreciate you so much!!!

Such a fun trip!!

We just returned home from a 9 day road trip to Albuquerque and back. It was an amazing and fun trip. We stopped at a deer farm and got to see a lot of various animals as well as hang with about 30 or so deer. The kids thought this was so much fun. Then we went to see Sedona (beautiful) and visited Meteor Crater (also very cool). Then we were on to Albuquerque for one of Lanny's dear friends wedding. We spent 3 days there and then we headed back. Our first stop was at the painted dessert and the petrified forest (this was an amazing sight and very educational for all of us). Then we were headed to Flagstaff to play in the snow. Here we got a bit more than we bargained for. . . .

We first got stuck on the 40 freeway for 5 1/2 hours in the midst of a major snowstorm, three semi trucks had jackknifed and overturned, so the freeway was shutdown. Once we were able to start moving, the snow was so intense and deep that it created very scary driving conditions. So we stayed in Flagstaff a couple of days to wait out the storm. We had tons of fun playing in the snow. Our next stop was supposed to be the Grand Canyon, however because of the severity of the storm, the road to the Grand Canyon was closed. So we hung out for a little longer in Flagstaff and then headed on to Laughlin for the last couple of days.

I had such an amazing time, lots of laughs and tons of fun memories. I have to say that road trips are awesome, such a fun adventure, with great company.
